Job Overview

Qualifications and Skills


  • Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Pulmonology.
  • Valid license to practice as a Pulmonologist.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in pulmonary medicine and related procedures.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centric approach.

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Diagnose and treat patients with respiratory conditions and diseases, specializing in pulmonary medicine.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and examinations to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests such as spirometry, arterial blood gas analysis, and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and therapies for respiratory disorders.
  • Perform pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other procedures as required.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated and coordinated care for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, disease management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials to advance knowledge in the field of pulmonology.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in pulmonary medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Adhere to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in patient care and documentation.
