- Stay up to date with developments in the fields of pathology and medical practiceStudy blood samples for transfusion use including the blood type, blood group, cell morphology, and compatibility with other blood typesUse medical equipment and computerized systems to perform various lab testsOperate laboratory equipment such as cell counters and microscopesLog data from lab tests and enter results in patient’s record
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Pathologist or similar roleValid and active medical licenseExperience using lab testing equipment, such as microscopes and flow cytometersExceptional analytical and research skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsRelevant training and/or certifications as a Pathologist
