Responsibilities
- Apply software design tools and web technologies to solve critical challenges
- Own end-to-end data processing system from ingestion to API / UI
- Fine tune and optimize existing system to improve scalability and availability
- Stay up-to-date on the most recent frontend / backend technologies
- Be able to relay key findings and insights to stakeholders using easy to understand diagrams and other visuals
- Write automated unit and end-to-end integration tests in parallel to development
- Team player and collaborates well with others
- Proactive attitude on raising concerns and providing solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
- 2+ years of programming experience in Python, Golang, Java, C++ or any other object-oriented programming language
- Experience with building APIs and backend systems
- Experience with system design and architecture
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc)
- Hands-on experience with web scraping is a bonus
- Good to have knowledge of frontend libraries like HTML, CSS, React.js
- Familiarity with k8s, docker, ELK, and Airflow
Mandatory Skills:
Must have worked on both Python and Golang (atleast strong in either one and exposure to the other)
