Job Overview

As a Business Development Manager, your primary role will be to drive sales and marketing activities within the water treatment industry. This position requires extensive travel and collaboration with various stakeholders to expand our market presence and develop long-term business relationships.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in the water treatment industry is mandatory.

  • Ability to identify market trends and new business opportunities.

  • Experience in liaising with consultants, builders, and industry professionals.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct and lead sales and marketing activities for all Pentaaqua products, components, and services within your territory.
  • Identify new leads emerging in the market and travel extensively to promote our unique packaged and pre-fabricated products for projects.
  • Develop and liaise with consultants, builders, industries, MEP contractors, and utility management companies for vendor registration and regular requirements.
  • Participate in expos, arrange events, seminars, and workshops to educate clients on our products and technological advancements.
  • Anticipate new requirements from key accounts, offering personalized services to develop long-term corporate business relationships.
  • Regularly update management on market requirements, trends, and competition strategies to refine our approach.
  • Coordinate with the proposal and product development team on market trends and customer needs.
  • Identify new technological advancements and analyze their effectiveness and customer response.
  • Develop and strengthen channel partners in your region, oversee activities from sales to project execution, appointing sales and service engineers.
  • Arrange workshops and seminars for channel partners.

Segment to Focus – Packaged Treatment units for residential, commercial (hotels/resorts, hospitals, offices, construction sites, and others) with turnkey packages for smaller capacities up to 5 MLD.

Products – Packaged RO, packaged STP (MBR/MBBR & SBR units), packaged softening units, hydro booster systems, and ultra filtration systems and services.

Dealer Development – Appoint a minimum of 4 dealers/channel partners in India within 1 year.

EXPORT BUSINESS POTENTIAL– Develop business in 1 country: Maldives + Sri Lanka OR Kenya.
