Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager with a background in building materials to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the building materials industry. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base in the building materials sector.
2. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, architects, contractors, and builders.
3. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
4. Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, helping them make informed decisions about the company's building materials offerings.
5. Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities.
6. Collaborate with the internal team, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
7. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote the company's products.
8. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
9. Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to building materials.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically within the building materials industry.
3. Strong understanding of the building materials market and products.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
6. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
9. Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as needed.
10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
