Job Description

1.      Should have production planning skills and meeting daily ouput targets.

2.      Should have strong capability to interact with team and drive to meet the production requirements.

3.      Candidate should have the knowledge of preparing process sheets, estimation of machine hours, load chart machine wise for weekly and monthly.

4.      The candidate should be good in reading machine shop and assembly drawings.

5.      Should be capable of controlling time and motion of the job as per the plan and schedule and increase productivity of the machine shop.

6.      The candidate should have good knowledge in machining procedure and techniques, tooling and clamping etc and methods to speed up the work progress and maintain quality in the job machined with in specified tolerances.

7.      Should be able to train people to program / set CNC & VMC machines.

8.      Should be able to program and set CNC and VMC machines.

9.      Should be responsible for the quality of parts produced in the M/s.

10.  Manpower Handling.

11.  Should have basic knowledge on selecting Tool Holders, Cutting tools, Inserts, Cutting parameters.

12.  Should have knowledge and skill of using measurement instruments like Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Height gauge, Profile projector.

13.  Should be flexible to work in shifts.

14.  Should initiate and drive Continual improvement and cost reduction activities.

15.  Should have knowledge on 5S and Safety.
