 Job Description

1.      Inspection of items from Machine Shop operations like, Vertical Milling, CNC Turning, H-Boring, Grinding & Final finishing operations

2.      Inspection of in-process assemblies in Assembly shop

3.      Updating GRN & Work Orders in SAP and Preparation of IIR and AIR

4.      Maintain record of calibration of all measuring instruments

5.      Approves materials by confirming specifications and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

6.      Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production & quality manager.

7.      Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results

8.      Strong Fundamental Knowledge in Quality Measurement techniques in the area of milling, turning, boring, wire cutting, cutting tools maintenance, sheet metal parts, molding, fabrication, casting, carbon fiber, FRP etc.

9.      Sound knowledge in Quality measurement methods – both Conventional and non-conventional methods. (Fixed or Portable CMM, VMS).

10.  Adequate Knowledge on ISO-9001 & ISO 13485 with NC handling and Audit handling

11.  Strong desire to learn and grow by adding value to the Organization, Strong decision-making power with good communication and interpersonal skills

12.  Hands on experience on SAP for Inventory management and inspection

13.  Strong desire to achieve excellence in process, product quality and system

14.  Data Analysis and QC Documentation

15.  Adequate problem solving skills with sound technical reasoning
