Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel, adhering to best coding practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs for seamless data exchange between different components of the application.
• Create and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues, ensuring the overall stability of the applications.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into the development process when applicable.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
• Continuously improve application performance, security, and scalability to meet the growing needs of the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with a focus on Laravel and PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and PHP programming language.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, Angular).
• Experience with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar, and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with front-end applications.
• Knowledge of web application security best practices to ensure data protection and prevent security vulnerabilities.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and deliver projects on time.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience with other PHP frameworks like Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Zend.
• Knowledge of server management and deployment using tools like Docker or AWS.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Jest.
• Previous experience in e-commerce or SaaS application development.
