ob Description-Regional Manager
1.Role is responsible for managing sales in a specific territory, handling customers' queries and ensure smooth operations.
2.The key accountabilities include business development and increase in market share by addition of new customers, retention of existing customers and managing outstanding Brand value in the region.
3.Daily/weekly/monthly sales in line of the defined budget & strategy and ensure the team is moving with the organization's defined direction.
4.Monitoring all inbound and outbound shipments on daily basis and ensure that shipments are delivered within agreed timelines.
5.Coordinate collections, deliveries, drop-offs and recoveries with other departments
6.Define the best possible route to dispatch the shipment to its final destination.
7.Give directions to functional teams- commercial, operations, customer service & documentation, claims prevention, administration, accounts, contract negotiations, cost control & staff management.
8.Complete commercial business development & operations for logistics business.
9.Monitoring COD depositing on daily basis
10.Ability to manage client / customer escalation proactively and coordination with station team.
11. Monitoring in Bound, Out Bound and RTO on timely of all branches
12. Monitor last mile delivery performance and take a necessary step of action for improvement
13.Setting up and managing efficient and cost effective last mile delivery network across the city
14.Coordinate and monitor end to end last mile delivery operations and with multiple remote teams on a daily basis.
15.Ensure full control on profitability of the region
16.Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline targets.
17.Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
18.Ensure Smooth Functioning of day-to-day warehousing operations.
19.Delegate responsibilities to other managers to meet company goals
20.Conducting regular performance reviews
21.Must have strong leadership skills
22.Technical and problem-solving capabilities.
23.Candidate should have experience in Handling Multiple Cities or a Region.
24.Preference to candidates who have handled heavy-bulky shipments.
Candidate must have an experience of 4-6 years of handling a whole region.
