<h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>Knowledge of Tally, TDS, GST, CASH HANDLING, TAX.,PF,ESIC,CHALLAN, PTAX.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Calculating employee earnings and deductions</li><li>Preparing employee paychecks</li><li>Maintaining and updating accurate payroll documents</li><li>Updating payroll and accounting files, general ledger, and tax documents</li><li>Overseeing the payment of paid and unpaid leaves</li><li>Resolving any payroll related issues and employee queries</li><li>Calculating and processing holiday deductions and overtime earnings</li><li>Undertaking payroll audits</li><li>Preparing tax reports on time</li><li>Adhering to State and Federal regulations when carrying out payroll accounting practices</li><li>Regularly updating payroll systems</li><li>Keeping a tab on employee timesheets and leaves</li><li>Performing accurate tax deductions</li><li>Reviewing company payroll system and suggesting improvements</li><li>Ensuring employee salaries are transferred to respective bank accounts in a timely manner</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in the Accounting field as a Payroll Accountant or<a href="https://resources.jobsoid.com/job-descriptions/accounting/payroll-coordinator" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">&nbsp;Payroll Coordinator</a></li><li>A certificated Payroll Professional is desirable</li><li>Complete knowledge of accounting practices and Government regulations</li><li>Excellent accounting and computer skills</li><li>Familiarity with payroll software like OnPay, Gusto, and Xero</li><li>Strong mathematical skills</li><li>Having an eye for detail</li><li>Good time management and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information</li><li>Good communication skills</li><li>Impressive analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p>
