Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer Senior for an on-premise role at our Mumbai office. This is a full-time, mid-level position that requires a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and managing our BI solutions using Power BI and associated technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Power BI, with a deep understanding of its functionality to create interactive and dynamic reports and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Data Analysis Expressions known as DAX, which is a mandatory skill for this role.
• Strong skills in T-SQL for database management, a mandatory skill required for effective data querying.
• Experienced in using SQL Server Reporting Services or SSRS, considered a mandatory skill for report generation.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Power Query for data transformation and combination from multiple sources.
• Sound knowledge of MDX for working with OLAP cubes, helping in creating complex analytical queries.
• Experience in data modeling techniques to ensure the reports and data are accurate and comprehensive.
• Proficient in data visualization to transform raw data into meaningful insights effectively and aesthetically.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy Power BI solutions to meet organizational needs and client requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Develop complex DAX queries and calculations for dynamic visualizations.
• Conduct data analysis by writing efficient T-SQL scripts to extract and integrate data from various sources.
• Maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and modify them as per business needs.
• Create and manage MDX queries for advanced data analysis.
• Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of BI solutions within the enterprise environment.
