We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team at Oceanmtech. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced Android applications for our clients. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and we are specifically looking for freshers with less than 1 year of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
