We are hiring an Android Developer to join our dynamic team at Oceanmtech. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform. This is a full-time position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in Android development.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Android development
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or both
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development, testing, and production stages
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in Android development
