Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer for a full-time, mid-level position with NV5 Mission Critical, specifically for data center projects. The role is based in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, or Bangalore Urban and demands a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 4 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical systems within our data center projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD to create, modify, and optimize mechanical system designs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC Systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and enhance their performance and efficiency.
• Experience in Quality Assurance Testing to assess, monitor, and improve mechanical system standards.
• Ability to execute Condition Monitoring to anticipate failures and sustain uninterrupted operations of mechanical systems.
• A background in Mechanical Engineering is essential, along with hands-on experience in related systems and tools.
• Skilled in HVAC Testing to validate system performance against established criteria and standards.
• Experienced in Testing and Commissioning processes to enable successful handover of projects to clients.
• BCxP certification is a must, demonstrating proficiency in building commissioning and system integration.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems within data centers, ensuring they meet project specifications and client expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline testing, verification, and final commissioning processes.
• Review and evaluate project specifications and drawings to implement optimal strategies and solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify installation and operation align with design purpose and industry standards.
• Identify and rectify any issues in mechanical systems, ensuring seamless operation and functionality.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation, outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Provide expert guidance in mechanical system troubleshooting and improvement initiatives on-site.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning process.
