Job Overview

This mid-level position for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer is based in major Indian cities including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 8 years of relevant work experience and a focus on electrical testing and commissioning. The role is essential in ensuring the successful implementation and functionality of electrical systems in various mission-critical projects within the construction industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning in the construction sector.
• Expertise in MEP processes and systems relevant to engineering projects.
• In-depth knowledge of DG systems and proficiency in their implementation.
• Experience with ELV switchgear systems and their application in critical projects.
• Proficiency in working with HT - HV MV Switchgear systems and ensuring their reliability.
• Experience in UPS testing and commissioning to guarantee equipment functionality.
• Familiarity with transformer systems, including their maintenance and commissioning.
• Must demonstrate skills in electrical testing and commissioning (Mandatory skill).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive electrical system testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams across different phases, from planning to execution, to optimize project outcomes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation for internal and client review.
• Ensure high safety standards are maintained during the commissioning processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all electrical commissioning activities are aligned with project timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their requirements and ensure project satisfaction.
• Continuously stay updated with advancements in electrical testing technologies and practices.
