Job Overview

As an MEP Resident Engineer with NV5 Mission Critical, you will play a pivotal role in our mission-critical projects. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Mumbai, requiring 6 to 15 years of work experience. You will join a dynamic team focused on sector-specific engineering, where your expertise will drive our projects to success. The role demands high proficiency in managing MEP systems and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in MEP coordination with a knack for integrating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems seamlessly (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and compliance with relevant standards (Mandatory skill).
• Proven experience as an MEP Resident Engineer, demonstrating effective project management under challenging conditions (Mandatory skill).
• Technical expertise in MEP systems enabling effective decision-making and problem-solving.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems to ensure efficient climate control and building operations.
• Expertise in electrical systems to guarantee adequate power supply and safety features are embedded.
• Effective site supervision skills to oversee and direct the work of technical personnel and subcontractors.
• Commitment to quality assurance, ensuring projects meet the highest industry standards and client expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and verification of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of MEP systems, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in preparing detailed project documentation, reports, and records for all phases of MEP projects.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to provide technical guidance and recommendations.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all work is performed in compliance with specifications.
• Conduct inspections and mock-ups to validate system functionality and compliance with requirements.
• Resolve any design or construction conflicts promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
