Job Title: Team Lead – Digital Technology Engineering

Job Type: Contract (6 months minimum, extendable up to 1-2 years)

Location: Remote

Start Date: April 1, 2025


Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead – Digital Technology Engineering to lead and guide our digital initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our backend services, ensuring a best-in-class user experience across all digital channels. You will lead a team of talented Node.js developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall backend strategy, aligning with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Define and implement microservices development standards, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Plan, manage, and execute backend development projects on time and within budget.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure projects are delivered with high quality and meet business requirements.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: B.E./B.Tech, MCA, or an equivalent Computer Science degree
  • Experience: 10+ years (with at least 3 years in a leadership role)

  • Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Spring Boot & Database Management (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • CI/CD & DevOps (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube)
  • API Development & Management (REST, GraphQL, API Gateway)
  • Version Control Systems (Git, Bitbucket)
