About the Role

Nova Nurture is hiring on behalf of our client, KJBN Labs, an innovative agritech startup based in Bangalore. We are looking for a QA Tester (Manual) with hands-on experience in mobile, web, and API testing. You will work closely with product and development teams to ensure the quality and usability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases for mobile apps, web interfaces, and backend APIs.
• Report and track bugs clearly using tools like Jira or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand features and requirements.
• Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing as needed.
• Validate bug fixes and new features in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.

Required Skills:

• 2–4 years of experience in manual testing across mobile, web, and API platforms.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools for web testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug lifecycle.
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development.
• Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Understanding of mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and device testing.
