About the Role

Are you a passionate backend or full-stack engineer who thrives in a high-impact, high-ownership environment? Join our client as an SDE-2 and work on complex distributed systems using Node.js and NestJS. You'll design scalable microservices, mentor junior developers, and play a crucial role in building high-performance products that power their platform.

What You'll Do

1. Build and maintain scalable backend systems with Node.js and NestJS

2. Debug complex issues in distributed systems

3. Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth microservice integration

4. Mentor junior developers (1-2 YOE)

5. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions

6. Take ownership of tasks end-to-end-from

7. Work on backend-heavy full-stack features (optional frontend exposure)

Must-Have Skills

-4+ years of hands-on development experience

- Strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms

- Expertise in Node.js and NestJS

- Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and system design

- Experience with RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL); familiarity with NoSQL

- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar queuing systems

- Strong debugging, log tracing, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Points For

1. Experience with Android + NestJS integrations

2. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

3. Frontend exposure (React is a plus, not a requirement)
