Design subsystems and components by reasoning from first principles and applying fundamental concepts of mechanics, hydraulics and materials engineering

DFMEA, Preparation of Design & Product Testing and Validation Plans

Confirms system and product capabilities through design verification and testing

ƒPrepare product reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends

Participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs

Create CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, testing and assembly

Ensures design files and information are kept up to date, and stored in accordance with departmental procedures

Provides technical and engineering support for day-to-day activities related to product development and process improvements

Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner

Works with fellow engineers to develop alternatives and options for further development of projects and products

Works closely with quality, supply chain, process engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure flawless implementation of new products
