Job Description:

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in manual and automated testing to validate our semiconductor equipment automation solutions. You will be responsible for test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality. Additionally, you will interact directly with customers and internal teams to communicate findings, ideas, and solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on software requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and customers to debug and resolve issues.
• Ensure test coverage across different software modules and releases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define testing requirements.
• Communicate test results and ideas effectively within the team and to customers.
• Participate in test planning, strategy discussions, and process improvements.
• Contribute to automation initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on manual testing.
• Strong expertise in test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• BTech/MTech or equivalent education or experience in a relevant field.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with TestComplete, Selenium, Cypress, or any other test automation tool.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
• Knowledge of BDD and Cucumber, including Gherkin syntax for writing test scenarios.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards (e.g., SECS/GEM, EDA, GEM300) related to semiconductor automation.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD integration.
• Prior experience in semiconductor or industrial automation testing.
• US B1 Visa and willingness to travel for business visits if required.
