Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our team in Chennai. This is a full-time position intended for individuals with a solid foundation in accounting and taxation. The role requires candidates with experience in GSTR 3B and GSTR 1 Filing, GSTR 9 & 9C, TDS Filing, and Audit. The preferred candidate should demonstrate proficiency in accounts finalization, direct and indirect taxation, and MIS reporting.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in GSTR 3B and GSTR 1 Filing, as well as GSTR 9 & 9C, are mandatory skills needed for this role requiring precision and regulatory understanding.
  • TDS filing is a mandatory skill, ensuring compliance with tax regulations for timely and accurate submissions.
  • Prior experience in conducting audits is mandatory, which involves evaluating and enhancing financial practices within the organization.
  • Proficiency in accounts finalization is essential, involving detailed review and closure of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience in direct taxation management is required, focused on ensuring compliance and optimizing tax liabilities.
  • Knowledge of indirect taxation processes is required, entailing accurate understanding and management of related tax obligations.
  • MIS reporting skills, necessary for effective analysis and presentation of financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex accounting and tax information to ensure informed business decisions.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute GSTR 3B and GSTR 1 filings, along with GSTR 9 & 9C, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
  • Handle accurate and timely TDS filing processes to maintain organizational compliance with taxation laws.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits to assess financial operations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
  • Finalize accounts accurately, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and reflect true financial status.
  • Oversee direct and indirect tax computations to optimize tax positions and enforce tax compliance measures.
  • Prepare and manage MIS reports, delivering critical insights and forecasts to senior management to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and drive organizational strategy effectively.
  • Stay updated with changing tax laws and accounting procedures to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
