Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Firewall Engineer to design, implement, and manage our network security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various firewall technologies and a strong understanding of network protocols to ensure the integrity and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, deploy, and maintain firewall systems (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Document configurations, procedures, and security incidents.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.).
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL).
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS systems.
• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and SIEM platforms.
• Certifications:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security or higher.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certification.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
