Job Overview

Nexus Jobs is seeking a Junior Back End Developer for a full-time role based in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern back-end technologies and contribute to building robust applications in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year and up to 3 years of experience working as a back end developer in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in Node.js (Mandatory skill), with hands-on project experience in building scalable server-side applications.
• In-depth knowledge and application of MongoDB (Mandatory skill), including schema design, query optimization, and data management.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs (Mandatory skill) to facilitate seamless integration with front-end and third-party services.
• Experience working with SQL databases, including but not limited to query writing, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms, with focus on leveraging cloud resources to enhance application scalability and reliability.
• Exposure to AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or similar, to support efficient cloud-based deployments and operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of GitHub for version control, collaborative coding practices, and workflow management in a team setting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side logic using Node.js, ensuring strong performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Design, manage, and maintain databases with MongoDB, including handling data storage solutions and optimizing for high availability.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable, and performant RESTful APIs to support integration and business logic requirements.
• Work collaboratively with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to define and deliver optimal technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade back end applications for improving quality, reliability, and performance of system operations.
• Implement data security and protection measures as per industry standards, maintaining compliance and safeguarding application data.
• Assist in deploying applications to AWS environments, leveraging cloud resources for efficient scaling and maintenance.
• Utilize GitHub for code versioning, code reviews, and seamless team collaboration on various development tasks.
