Job Overview

NeXjob.in is seeking a Linux System Administrator to join our team in New Delhi, Delhi, India. As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in Linux system administration and possess a strong understanding of Linux operating systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Linux system administrator
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with Linux server installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash or Python
• Knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve server and software issues
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications like RHCSA or LPIC are a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and operating systems
• Monitor system performance and ensure server availability and security
• Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and software issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy and maintain web applications
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
• Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Linux system administration
