Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technology Architect to support our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiative, aligned with new CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance requirements. The role will be embedded within the Business Support Domain, collaborating closely with Digital Leads and Enterprise Architects to define and implement the future-state architecture of ESG reporting and operational models.

This position demands a hands-on architect with a strong background in at least two of the following areas: Business, Data, IT Application, and Technology Architecture. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining scalable, future-ready architectures that align with ESG goals and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive application and infrastructure architecture for assigned ESG areas
• 
  
• Ensure alignment of architecture across sub-domains and the broader technology landscape
• 
  
• Develop long-term architecture roadmaps and manage co-existence with legacy systems
• 
  
• Define digital product boundaries and determine optimal placement of capabilities within the landscape
• 
  
• Specify enterprise data objects in canonical format and ensure alignment with the INGKA Total Data Model
• 
  
• Define and manage information flow across digital products, legacy systems, and domains
• 
  
• Resolve architecture challenges during significant landscape transformations
• 
  
• Collaborate with Digital Lead Architects and report to the Enterprise Architect within the Business Support Domain
• 
  
• Work in a cross-functional and outcome-driven environment with diverse stakeholders across IT and business
• 
  

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience leading architecture initiatives, including 4+ years in an Enterprise Architecture context
• 
  
• Demonstrated experience in CSRD or ESG-related reporting projects, ideally spanning Business, Data, IT Application, and Technology Architecture
• 
  
• Strong experience working in global organizations, preferably in the retail, consumer packaged goods, or manufacturing industries
• 
  
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, reporting/analytics, and retail tech ecosystems
• 
  
• Familiarity with legacy coexistence and integration of third-party platforms (e.g., SAP)
• 
  
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at both technical and strategic levels
• 
  
• Proven ability to lead through culture and values, align stakeholders, and drive long-term strategic outcomes
• 
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in international business environments
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering architecture solutions in ESG or sustainability-driven initiatives
• 
  
• Knowledge of CSRD compliance frameworks and supporting technologies
• 
  
• Ability to work across application and infrastructure architecture domains in a fast-evolving tech landscape

• Experience in balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic objectives
