Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FPSL Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP FPSL solutions and will have a strong background in finance and controlling modules, particularly within the insurance and financial services sectors. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of SAP FPSL, US GAAP, and related SAP modules, including S4 FI, CO, FSCD, and FPSL.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Independently deliver high-quality SAP FPSL solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Engage in client discussions to understand their financial and operational challenges and provide expert advice on SAP FPSL capabilities and solutions.
• Lead solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Provide functional inputs for development activities, collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing of SAP FPSL solutions, identifying and resolving any issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform investigation, debugging, and root cause analysis of production issues in FICO modules, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Utilize proficiency in US GAAP to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with client counterparts, maintaining effective communication and building strong relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
• Offer debugging assistance and support to technical teams, enhancing overall system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SAP FPSL implementation and support, with a strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and SAP modules S4 FI, CO, FSCD, and FPSL.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate, debug, and resolve complex system issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
• Knowledge of SAP boundary modules and integration points.
• Familiarity with SAP development tools and methodologies.
