L2 Security Analyst

No. of openings: 1 Location: Hyderabad, India Experience: 3-5 years

This positions requires 2 rounds of interview 1st will be zoom and 2nd round Face to Face is mandatory in Hyderabad.

Job brief

The Analyst is expected to work in 24/7 work environment with a pure focus on Deployment & maturing customer product post deployment (During PoC/ Post sale). It is expected for Analyst to perform analysis around    False positives identification & tuning; engage with deployment engineer around log onboarding, parser corrections, dashboard & use case building activities associated to customer requirements.

Responsibilities

·        Perform seamless Research on data generated via customer & Third-party tools & therefore identify use-cases & deploy the same

·        Perform detailed analysis on alerts being triggered post deployment of product & fine tune the system by managing rule/ algorithm effectively.

·          Build standard or customized dashboards per the agreement

·        Act as a lead & Point of Contact within the involved shift & train L1 folks via scheduled KT plans

Requirements

·        3 to 5 years of working in security operations.

·        Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

·        Knowledge of TCP/IP, operating systems (Windows/LINUX/UNIX),

·        Worked on rule management of SIEM

·        Built use case/ managed use cases within SIEM

·        Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+ or CCNA an added advantage
