About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Manual QA Testing Engineer to join our growing QA team. As a senior member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through comprehensive manual testing practices. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, product managers, and automation engineers—in a fast-paced Agile environment to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, author, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, UI, smoke, and exploratory testing of web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation teams to validate new features and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze test results and document defects clearly using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• Perform root cause analysis and work with developers to triage and verify fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous testing improvement.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior QA team members when needed.
• Ensure thorough documentation of testing artifacts and contribute to knowledge base creation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in manual web application testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and QA best practices.
• Experience with writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP) and browser developer tools.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking systems like Jira.
• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
• Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality.
