Education: BSc / MSc in Microbiology

Experience: 3-5 years

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1 Ensure calibration and maintain microbiology lab equipment

2 Perform microbial testing in accordance with USP, EP, IP or customer guideline

3 To perform efficient/reliable microbial testing in accordance with USP/USP-NF/EP/JP or customer guidelines. Testing may include microbial parameters in water, product contact surface environmental monitoring, viable air monitoring, and Microbial Limits Tests, Pathogens as well as BET test in raw materials and finished goods

4 Filing and documentation of reports as per standards

5 Responsible for a clean, hygienic and safe working environment

6 Responsible for all purified water trend analysis

7 Method validation for MLT, pathogens and BET each individual product

8 Monitor and record day to day activity as per GDP guideline

9 Involvement in Audit and NC compliance with their record

10 Report all unsafe conditions to their supervisor or safety committee as soon as is reasonably possible.

11 Follow safe operating procedures and Material Safety Data (MSDS) guidance applicable to work performed
