Central Merchandiser
Job Summary
The Central Merchandiser shall have the responsibility of managing the merchandising activities of outlets. He should ensure that all outlets have displayed the products as per the standards of the company policy. He shall be responsible for advising the merchandising executives of outlets. He/she shall be diligent in delivering his duties in adherence to the company’s policies and top management decision in time.
Key Responsible Area: -
· Regular visits of outlets.
· Audit of merchandising activities.
· Implementation of display changes.
· Conduct competitor analysis.
· Preserve the ambiance of the outlet.
· Ideate new themes.
· Maintain company’s standard theme as scheduled.
· Coordinate the team as per the direction of the operations manager and complete the work timely.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Implementation of effective visual changes in outlets.
· Parity of theme implementation across outlets.
· Optimum space utilisation of outlet.
· Visit outlets as per schedules approved by operations manager.
· Contribute to display & merchandising ideas, layout design, during start-up of new outlets.
· Timely completion of work.
· Competitors study (with report)
· Generation of reports

Duties and Responsibilities
· Plan the merchandising activities and execute with team.
· Ensure display arrangements (mannequins and items) contribute to forming impressions in customers mind.
· Educate the sales staff members regarding benefits of products displaying, refilling of products at right time, how to arrange the products, etc.
· Manage mannequins and place them appropriately.
· Stock setting and changes in display settings as per the instruction of the operations manager.
· Execute the tasks given by the operations manager.
· Conduct competitor analysis, find innovative changes and report to the operations manager.
· Timely start and finish the works according to the action plan given by the operations manager.
· Coordinate different activities as per the instructions from management.
· Attend meetings as instructed by the management.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures.
· Prepare all reports in time and submit to management as instructed.
