Job Overview

Mangalore Minerals Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Draughtsman to join our team. As a Mechanical Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to translate concepts into accurate and precise drawings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman
• Strong proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans for machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems based on specifications and requirements
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to develop and refine designs
• Prepare and interpret blueprints, schematics, and CAD files
• Ensure that drawings comply with industry and regulatory standards
• Use CAD software and other tools to generate accurate and precise drawings
• Perform calculations and analysis to validate designs
• Identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies
• Review and modify designs based on feedback and requirements
• Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders
• Stay updated with advancements in mechanical drafting and design techniques
