Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager for our pharma division at Mithros Chemicals Pvt Ltd. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, establishing first contact, and driving the sales pipeline. This role requires strong market research skills, a proven track record in the chemistry CRO industry, and excellent communication skills in English.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree / Masters Degree in Chemistry or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in business development or sales in the chemistry CRO industry
- Proven and successful track record in a similar role
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Front-end sales skills with the ability to persuade and negotiate
- Strong market research skills and experience with investigating and harvesting relevant business databases
- Proficiency in working within a professional company's IT infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop-based research in defined business areas/market segments
- Identify potential clients and establish first contacts (cold contact)
- Create a constant flow of leads, feeding the sales pipeline according to KPIs & goals
- Work within a professional company IT infrastructure
- Use market research skills to investigate and harvest relevant business databases
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance business development strategies
- Participate in industry events and conferences to stay updated on market trends
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate and close business deals
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients and ensure customer satisfaction
