We are seeking a proactive Lead Generation Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in identifying potential clients and supporting strategic outreach efforts in the food industry.
Job Overview
As a Lead Generation Intern at Mevive International, you will work closely with our Business Development and Marketing teams to identify potential clients, qualify leads, and build databases to support global expansion. This internship offers valuable exposure to B2B sales operations, CRM tools, and real-world outreach strategies in the food export market.
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential leads through platforms such as LinkedIn, trade directories, and company websites.
- Qualify leads by analyzing relevance, industry, and decision-making potential.
- Build and maintain a structured lead database or CRM records.
- Draft and send outreach emails or LinkedIn messages to target prospects.
- Assist in managing responses, follow-ups, and initial client communication.
- Collaborate with the BD team to align lead profiles with target geographies and industries.
- Monitor market activity and competitors’ outreach strategies.
- Track and report weekly metrics for outreach and lead generation performance.
Qualifications
- Current enrolment in a Bachelor’s degree program (preferably in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Food Technology, MBA or a related field).
- Strong interest in market research, data analysis towards food and agriculture industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings clearly.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
