We are looking for an enthusiastic B2B Sales Intern to join our business development team and contribute to global outreach and sales growth in the food export industry.
Job Overview
As a B2B Sales Intern at Mevive International, you will be involved in identifying new sales opportunities, interacting with potential international clients, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to follow-up. This internship provides deep insight into international trade, B2B sales strategy, and global food markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential international B2B clients across food processing, FMCG, and export segments.
- Assist in generating leads and engaging with decision-makers via email, LinkedIn, and trade portals.
- Support in client communication, follow-ups, and preparation of proposals or quotations.
- Help maintain CRM records and track the sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with marketing to align sales efforts with current campaigns.
- Participate in virtual meetings, trade discussions, and sales presentations.
- Analyze sales performance data and contribute suggestions for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and competitor movement in target regions.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (preferably in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Food Technology, MBA or a related field).
- Strong interest in market research, data analysis towards food and agriculture industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings clearly.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
