Functional Consultant - Finance

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Functional Consultant - Finance to join our development team. This role is perfect for individuals with an M.Com (Master of Commerce) degree and a strong background in Computer Applications, who are eager to dive into financial systems and business process development. This entry-level position does not require prior experience but demands a solid understanding of Accounting and Finance, combined with technical proficiency and a passion for creating efficient financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop financial workflows and system functionalities.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications for system development.
• Participate in the development and customization of financial modules within ERP systems or financial platforms, ensuring they meet business and compliance needs.
• Develop and execute testing plans to validate system configurations, identify issues, and ensure seamless performance of financial modules.
• Support the integration of financial systems with other business modules or external platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
• Provide end-to-end technical and functional support during project lifecycles, from requirement gathering through implementation and post-deployment.
• Contribute to the development of user interfaces and workflows for accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
• Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, ensuring all configurations, customizations, and processes are thoroughly documented.

Required Qualifications:

• M.Com (Master of Commerce) with expertise in Computer Applications, focusing on Accounting and Finance.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, SQL, and financial system customization.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and reporting standards.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying system improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
