Job Overview

MentTech Labs is seeking a Senior MERN Stack Developer for a full-time position at our Indore location. As a critical member of our team, you will utilize your expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB to build powerful applications. This role demands a deep understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs to create seamless, user-friendly web applications.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with React.js for building dynamic, single-page web applications with a focus on interactive UIs.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, allowing efficient handling of multiple tasks simultaneously and enhancing server functionality.
• Proficiency in Express.js to design robust, scalable server-side applications and restful web services that meet clients' demands.
• Extensive experience with MongoDB for managing databases within the application and ensuring smooth data retrieval and management.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem, including latest ES6+ features and common libraries for modern development.
• Background in HTML and CSS for structuring and styling components to create visually appealing and functional layouts.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs to integrate third-party services and enhance application capabilities effectively.
• Capability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as excellent problem-solving skills to resolve application issues swiftly.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and develop web applications using the MERN stack to meet project requirements and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring seamless integration across the stack.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to instill best practices and maintain high-quality code standards.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability to enhance user experience and application performance.
• Resolve complex technical challenges related to web application development using sound judgement and analytical skills.
• Maintain documentation for software architecture and coding practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives, to foster team productivity.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, experimenting and evaluating their integration into ongoing projects.
