Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess expertise in patient care, including providing personal support and comfort to patients (Mandatory skill).
• Proficient in medication administration, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of prescriptions (Mandatory skill).
• Knowledgeable in infection control practices to prevent the spread of infections in a healthcare setting (Mandatory skill).
• Able to accurately monitor and record vital signs, assessing patient health indicators regularly.
• Familiar with electronic health records and able to maintain and update patient information efficiently.
• Certified in basic life support, with the ability to perform lifesaving procedures during emergencies.
• Experience in wound dressing and management to promote patient recovery and prevent complications.
• Skilled in IV cannulation for administering fluids and medications intravenously to patients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care to patients, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, reporting any irregularities or concerns to the medical team.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and medication instructions.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes, monitoring the healing process and reporting progress.
