Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Specialist / MD Medicine Consultant to join our reputed healthcare facility in Khanna, Punjab. The ideal candidate will manage critically ill patients in the ICU/HDUs and attend to inpatient medicine cases with efficiency and dedication.

Key Responsibilities:

Attend to all critically ill patients in ICU, emergency, and high-dependency units.

Perform patient assessment, diagnosis, and management in line with standard critical care protocols.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (nursing, allied health, surgical specialists) for coordinated care.

Handle inpatient medicine cases and provide consultation as needed across departments.

Oversee ventilator management, intubations, central lines, and emergency procedures.

Regularly communicate with patient families regarding condition updates and treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records and discharge summaries.

Requirements:

MD/DNB in Internal Medicine or equivalent; additional qualification in Critical Care (IDCCM/EDIC) is a plus.

Registered with MCI/State Medical Council with a valid license to practice.

Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient care skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented critical care setting.
