Job Overview

We are seeking a Fabric Merchant to join our team at May I Help You. As a Fabric Merchant, you will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating fabrics for our company. This role requires a mid-level experience of 4 to 6 years in fabric sourcing and a strong knowledge of the textile industry. The job is based in Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in fabric sourcing and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and applications.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications in the textile industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fabric inventory management software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Source and select fabrics based on the company's requirements for various projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and maintain a good relationship.
