Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled F&G Engineer to join our team at May I Help You. As an F&G Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of fire and gas detection systems. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role. The job is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in designing and implementing fire and gas detection systems
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards, such as NFPA, API, and EN
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for designing and analyzing fire and gas systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain fire and gas detection systems in accordance with industry standards and client requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize the potential for fire and gas incidents
• Perform regular inspections and testing of fire and gas detection equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with fire and gas detection systems and implement corrective measures
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that fire and gas detection systems are integrated effectively into overall facility designs
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal stakeholders on fire and gas safety matters
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to fire and gas detection systems
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations related to fire and gas engineering projects
