Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a solid background in the geospatial industry to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience with GIS, remote sensing, and location intelligence and be capable of aligning technical capabilities with client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Matrix Geo Solutions with a comprehensive understanding of our services and solutions.
- Research client needs, identify opportunities, and match our offerings to their business requirements.
- Achieve revenue targets through structured planning, performance analysis, and forecasting.
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Meet with potential clients and stakeholders across India to present tailored solutions.
- Excel in lead generation, relationship management, and closing deals independently.
- Track and analyze business metrics, client interactions, and report trends.
- Manage month-end and year-end closure in coordination with the leadership team.
- Ensure a consultative sales approach, aligning customer pain points with our technology stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Geoinformatics, Geography, or related field.
- 2–4 years of business development/sales experience in GIS or geospatial solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident and presentable in client meetings.
- Comfortable engaging with senior government officials and enterprise clients.
- Willingness to travel Pan India for meetings and business development activities.
- Proficient in LinkedIn-based lead generation, cold calling, and converting leads into business.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A fast learner, self-starter, and problem-solver with a proactive approach.
