Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Equity Dealer to join our team in Kolkata. The candidate will play a critical role in facilitating equity transactions and managing relationships with key clients. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 7 years of work experience in equity trading and related domains.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in equity trading with a minimum of 7 years in the financial industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics.
• Proficiency in derivatives trading, ensuring effective client solutions and portfolio strategies. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong client relationship management skills to build and maintain long-term connections. (Mandatory skill)
• Comprehensive knowledge in market analysis techniques to interpret and respond to market trends.
• Ability to implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard client portfolios and mitigate potential losses.
• Expertise in trade execution, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Solid skills in portfolio management, with the capability to optimize client investments.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field.
• Experience in sales/business development in share broking or wealth management.
• NISM certifications (such as Series V-A and Series VII) preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and energetic approach to client building.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute equity trades on behalf of clients, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their trading preferences and needs.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights to clients to aid in decision-making and strategy development.
• Collaborate with the risk management team to minimize trading risks and enhance portfolio performance.
• Continuously monitor client portfolios and propose adjustments based on market conditions and client objectives.
• Deliver excellent client support and address queries regarding trading activity and market opportunities.
• Coordinate with various internal teams to ensure seamless trade processing and client satisfaction.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on the latest market developments and trading technologies.
