The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC VMC machines, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality machinery. They should possess expertise in advanced machine setups and calibration, particularly with Fanuc control systems and blueprint reading. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC VMC machines for optimal performance in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Fanuc control systems (Mandatory skill) for accurate and effective machine operation.
• Expertise in machine calibration (Mandatory skill) to ensure precision and accuracy in production processes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints (Mandatory skill) to guide the setup and operation of machining processes.
• Solid understanding of G-code programming for efficient programming and editing of CNC machine operations.
• Experience using Siemens CNC software to manage and control advanced machining functions.
• Competency in Mastercam CAD/CAM for designing and executing complex machining tasks with efficiency.
• Proficient in SolidWorks CAD to aid in the design and modification of machine components and processes.
• Skill in tool selection and setup ensuring optimal cutting conditions and quality outcomes in machining.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC VMC machines, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
• Calibrate equipment for precision and consistency, minimizing defects and enhancing machine efficiency.
• Interpret complex blueprints to accurately guide machine setups and modifications during production.
• Oversee the entire machining process, troubleshooting issues as they arise to prevent production delays.
• Develop and edit CNC programs to optimize machine performance and reduce cycle times in production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement innovative machining solutions.
• Continuously monitor and assess machine operations, making adjustments to enhance productivity and safety.
• Train junior staff on best practices in machine operation and safety protocols to build team competence.
