Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC VMC Machine Operator for a mid-level, full-time position based in Coimbatore. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating CNC machines, specifically with Fanuc control systems, and be proficient in tool setup and calibration. This role demands technical precision and attention to detail to maintain our commitment to delivering high-quality machinery.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machine operation, with a strong focus on Fanuc control systems (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in tool setup and calibration to ensure optimal machine performance (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to program using G-code for precise machinery operations.
• Familiarity with Siemens CNC controls and their applications in manufacturing.
• Skilled in using CAM software to design and modify machining processes.
• Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints to perform accurate machine setups.
• Understanding of quality inspection techniques to ensure product standards are met.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail to identify machine malfunctions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate CNC VMC machines efficiently, maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform tool setup, calibration, and inspection to achieve desired outcomes in manufacturing processes.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and translate them into machine operations.
• Develop and alter G-code programs to enhance productivity and machine capabilities.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machinery issues as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols within the machining environment.
• Collaborate effectively with the quality assurance team for product inspections and improvements.
• Report operational and technical issues to the engineering and management team for resolution.
