We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technical Support specialist with 1.5 to 2 years of experience to provide technical assistance to our internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and networks, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to internal staff and external clients via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and coordinate problem resolution.
- Document support tickets, resolutions, and procedures for future reference.
- Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed, such as system upgrades and migrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 1.5 to 2 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications (Microsoft Office, antivirus).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience troubleshooting common IT issues, such as connectivity problems, software errors, and hardware failures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
