Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior AI Researcher specializing in Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to join our Hyderabad team full-time. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-3 years of experience who are passionate about advancing the use of AI and machine learning within the photography and creative technology space.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Python (Mandatory skill) with proven experience developing and maintaining AI-related codebases for research and production environments.
• Hands-on expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (Mandatory skill) to design, implement, and optimize systems that blend retrieval mechanisms with generative language models.
• Solid understanding of Large Language Models (Mandatory skill), including architecture design, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment in real-world applications.
• Strong foundation in Natural Language Processing principles, including semantic search, text similarity, and linguistic data processing techniques.
• Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and tools for training, evaluation, and deployment of models across various stages of development.
• Exposure to prompt engineering techniques to improve LLM responses and adapt model outputs to the specific needs of the photography industry.
• Understanding of generative AI systems with an ability to research, experiment, and deploy large-scale AI models for text or image-based tasks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams and contribute to technical discussions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development on advanced LLM and RAG systems to enhance the intelligence and utility of our platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust AI models and pipelines tailored for organizing photographic content and streamlining operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI features with product needs, user feedback, and business goals in the photography industry.
• Apply prompt engineering strategies to optimize the behavior of language models for specific conversational or content-generation tasks.
• Evaluate and implement new AI, NLP, and generative modeling approaches to enhance client-facing and backend capabilities.
• Document solutions, conduct rigorous experimentation, and report findings to stakeholders for iterative product improvement.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI research, tools, and best practices relevant to generative and retrieval-augmented systems.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
