Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer (Diploma/ITC) to join our team at Lord Krishna Builders Pvt Ltd. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position based in Thrissur, Kerala, India, with a junior level experience requirement of 1 to 3 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or ITC in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a construction environment.
• Solid knowledge of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Valid driver's license.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of construction projects, including calculations, drawings, and cost estimations.
• Prepare and review project proposals, contracts, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including material procurement, equipment utilization, and workforce management.
• Resolve technical issues and troubleshoot any problems that arise during construction.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the established specifications.
• Regularly communicate with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of project activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in civil engineering practices.
