Responsibilities:

1. Architecture, Design, and Implementation:
2. Lead the architecture and design efforts for deploying applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and scalability needs.
4. Implement best practices for GCP services utilization and optimization.
5. Networking and Infrastructure Setup:
6. Configure and maintain networking infrastructure for web hosting and content delivery environments.
7. Establish secure and efficient infrastructure setups for high availability and performance.
8. Troubleshoot network-related issues and optimize network performance.
9. Automation and Orchestration:
10. Develop automation scripts and workflows for provisioning, deployment, and scaling of GCP resources.
11. Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
12. Orchestrate complex workflows and pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
13. Cloud Reliability and Security Practices:
14. Define and enforce cloud reliability best practices to ensure system availability and resilience.
15. Implement security controls and practices to safeguard GCP environments and data.
16. Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure setup in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
