🚀 Senior Finance Leader (CFO-Level) – Full-Time

Experience: 7–15 years

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory

🧾 About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on finance leader to take full ownership of our company’s finance, accounting, compliance, and audit functions. This is not a typical finance manager role — we are seeking someone who can act like a CFO and think like a co-founder.

You will work directly with the founder(s) and leadership team, handling everything from books to boardroom: closing books, managing audits, ensuring statutory compliance, managing cash flow, making financial forecasts, and enabling data-driven decision-making with advanced analytics.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

End-to-end ownership of all accounting entries, reconciliations, ledgers, and MIS

Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures

Manage Zoho Books/Tally/ERP as applicable

Audit & Compliance

Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits

Ensure 100% compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, ROC, etc.

Manage vendor payments, invoices, and reconciliations with full transparency

Strategic Finance & CFO Duties

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Maintain investor-ready financial models, decks, and dashboards

Set up internal financial controls and SOPs

Track burn rate, working capital, margins, and unit economics

Data Analytics & Decision Support

Build analytical dashboards to track KPIs across departments

Provide actionable financial insights to support growth, operations, and fundraising

Enable scenario modeling and cost optimization strategies

Team & Leadership

Represent finance at leadership and board discussions

Be a founder’s ally in planning long-term financial strategy

Potential to build and lead a finance team over time

✅ Ideal Candidate

Chartered Accountant with 7–15 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, and compliance

Startup or SME background preferred; ability to work independently and hands-on

Excellent with numbers, spreadsheets, reports, and data tools

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, company law, and compliance workflows

Working experience with tools like Zoho Books, Tally, Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools

Excellent communication and leadership skills
